Our Web Development Process
When we develop a website, fully custom coded or WordPress, we begin with the end in mind. Our initial focus is how to devise a strategy that encourages customer conversions. We manage this in three critical steps – strategic planning, designing, and function development.
Website Strategic Planning
Benjamin Franklin said, “If you fail to plan, you’re planning to fail.” And that is a true statement. That’s why we create a plan that looks at what you are attempting to accomplish with your website, the resources you currently have available, and your budget. With these three factors, we draft a project plan for the development of your website. We will present this documented plan to you and get you to sign off prior to any work being performed. This plan includes all the essential components such as wireframes, site and navigation maps, a color pallet, graphic assets, and content creation methods. Also included are professional suggestions that will help you meet your business objectives related to your website. No matter what, we don’t skip this step because even your website needs a strong plan.
Website Designing Activities
When we say website “designing” this refers to the look and feel of your website. At this stage of your web development project, we will agree upon colors, images, fonts, and the overall layout. This is the fun part of the project. Here you will be able to reveal what makes your business stand out from your competition in a way that will attract your ideal audience and engage them in meaningful ways so that they will want to convert to paying customers.
Functional Development
This is the technical part of your project. Keeping in mind the objectives for your website, we will build in the functions that are needed so that your visitors can interact with your site. This may be a login system, a payment gateway, an opt-in function, or forms management. Every business is different but no matter what your needs, we have probably done it before and are ready to do it again so that your website is all you and your visitors need it to be to accomplish your goals.
